CODESYS - Control for Raspberry

Hello,

i want to install Codesys on my NET PI.

Model: NIOT-E-NPI3-51-EN-RE.

According to the youtube video netPI - Deploying CODESYS, CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL is installed here.

For Raspberry PI with multiple cores, CODESYS offers CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL.


Which parameters are decisive here?

Can I finish the installation according to the video or do I have to proceed differently?

The multicore option is a new option CODESYS offers since end of last year 2018. Since netPI is a multi core processor based hardware it is up to you which license/mode you choose. They work both.I tried indeed the multicore option last month and it worked well even if my simple application I tested didn’t even brought a single core to its limit. So I can’t imaging such a demanding PLC application that really needs 4 cores. But it is up to you.
