Cause a customer specifically asked for it find appended to this post netPI's official RED certification paper.
The radio equipment directive 2014/53/EU (RED) establishes a regulatory framework for placing radio equipment on the market. A device needs to comply to this spec in all cases when equipped with Wireless technology and needs to be sold in Europe (and some others countries too).
