I am sorry to say that there isn't any possibility to remove the existing antenna from netPI and exchange it with an external one. We use the same antenna as it comes with original Pi3, this gaves us the guarantee that Wifi works as with the Pi3.
There is also one thing to know about certification. We also got a Wifi accreditation for netPI. Such an accreditation you get only in conjunction with a defined antenna. So even if we would have an external connector we had to prescribe a discrete and defined antenna in this case ... and this is what we definitively don't want to do.
