[SOLVED] STDOUT logging when container is started with -I and some CMD |

Hi Armin,
I ran into an issue where the netPi stopped working and the SD-card was completely full. I assume it was because STDOUT and STDERR are logged when a container is started with interactive shell and a CMD which writes to STDOUT and STDERR. The logs can be accessed through portainer, container details. Is there a possibility to clear the logs or to limit the size of the log-files when the container is created?
I had to delete and recreate the container to get it up and running again. It might be desirable to have the logs, but the netPi should not stop working because of it. Especially not when running in an industrial application.
Best regards
Thomas

System software V1.1.2.0 out now! |

The major changes of the system software version V1.1.2.0 are
- Allowing passing external USB storage devices to a container (like /dev/sda, /dev/sda1)
- Pulling docker images from a repository is running 2 times faster now
Read on here how you update your netPI.
You find netPI's latest system software at https://www.netiot.com/netpi/ in the section "downloads".
Please be aware of the fact that not every USB stick works. It needs to boot fast (with USB3.0 sticks no problems seen so far) to get recognized by netPI when powered. Try out other sticks just in case.

How can I use Wifi (in client mode) from within a container?
I'm using hilschernetpi/netpi-nodered-fieldbus:latest with Network=host and would like to connect to the cloud using Wifi instead of eth0.
What do I need to do to enable the Wifi within the container?

If I try that with a python:2 container, I get the following error when starting:
linux runtime spec devices: error gathering device information while adding custom device "/dev/i2c-1": lstat /dev/i2c-1: no such file or directory
Sorry, my mistake. Works perfect now.
