Here is what I read from the data base: The one B827EB538466 is a unit from feburary 2019, the unit B827EBEFDC49 is from march 2020.

The unit B827EB538466 has definitively an older SD card in use and it also may be that this SD card is glued into the SD card socket. Glueing the SD card is what we did since the beginning of netPI in year 2016 but mid of year 2019 we stopped glueing it and keep the SD card socket open since then. In general the older SD cards are 30% slower than the new ones. This was also a reason why we changed the SD card supplier to SANDISK. Since then we did no changes at all any more on netPI.

In my personal opinion you should try to recover the unit B827EB538466 as you proposed it already in your last post. If this does not help I definitively would replace the malfunctioning one with a new one. Maybe you have still guarantee. It depends on the time you bought it.

Thx
Armin

Dear Armin,

I tried to recover the unit B827EB538466 by re-installing the firmware. However, the connection lost still occurs.

So I decided to replace the unit. I am inquiring with our distributor about guarantee.

Thank you for investigating the matter.
