Is the Control Panel WebUI the only way to provision the Basic Settings (the ones in the Control panel) or is there a possibility to automate the Provisioning (maybe also via an additional package, maybe the Control Panel has some REST interface, ...) ?
Thanks,
Thomas

Yes this method of servicing is supported by netPI product. See here
https://forum.hilscher.com/thread-369-post-1463.html
A colleague of mine created a Node-RED flow in the refernced post that shows how to use it.
Thx

But when Hilscher is speaking about auto-provisioning then we understand that a device automatically loads containers when it is powered on the first time at end customer side.
This is supported with device "netFIELD Connect" gateway only, not netPI.

Well if I understand the mentioned post correct, you'll need an already configured/provisioned base-system.
My questions is related to the auto-configuring of the basesystem (by script, file upload, ... - that what you do manually in the Control Panel WebUI) ?
e.g.:
- Setting Network config
- Setting Admin credentials
- Starting the Docker Service
- ....
Thanks, Thomas
