RE: Docker not enabled - Armin@netPI - July-14th-2021

I have one more question concerning your setup. You said before you are using the device NIOT-E-TPI51-EN-RE. This gateway supports instant cifx0 support without the need of using ethernet-LAN containers. I think we have already talked about it.

The instant cifx0 support on NIOT-E-TPI-EN-RE is provided the time when you activate Node-RED in the devices services control panel. So my question is have you activated Node-RED on your device or not?

If Node-RED is activated then it is in conflict with the Ethernet-LAN container. The version 1.1.1 does not check if cifx0 is already provided and executes and "overwrites" the Node-RED cifx0 setup ... the container 1.1.3 whereas checks if cifx0 is already activated and in this case it denies operation. This might be the root cause of your problem.

Thx
