NodeRed and EtherCAT

Currently I use a netPI RTE 3 as a profinet client with a hilschernetpi/netpi-nodered-fieldbus container.
Now I need to do the same as an ethercat client. Possible with NodeRed (FIELD ecs)?

The sample container hilschernetpi/netpi-netx-programming-examples works.

I am sorry to say that this use case "Node-RED + EtherCAT web Fieldbus configurator" has never been programmed by Hilscher team.

So we cannot offer you this configuration in the same manner as we are offering it for "Node-RED + PROFINET or EtherNet/IP web Fieldbus configurator" today.

Also there is no time schedule for implementing this.

did anything change since then? Meaning, is there an EtherCat-Node by now or is still no implementation planned?

the status has not changed. There is still no plan to develop an EtherCAT Node for Node-RED.
