netPI does not include any backup function because it is not needed.

All the relevant software of netPI that is worth it to be saved are the containers, right?

But netPI is just a Docker-Host executing only containers that are initially located somewhere else ... on docker registry servers, right?

So it is a matter of the customer to keep and maintain his containers correctly on his registry servers instead of the shifting this issue on netPI. But indeed in a coming version of netPI there is a function where you can make a snapshot of a current container and upload this to server. Today this function is not there.
