I found out that I am getting the same error, even when I am using a standard Raspberry Pi 3 and this Docker development image. That made me curious why this happens. So I updated the https://github.com/Hilscher/netPI-contai...nvironment package using debiantretch as base image instead of debian:jessie as used before.
The result is positive: Now I am getting no longer the cgroup is already mounted error.
You can try it now yourself, it should work fine.
