Reset Password - s.stucchi - March-21st-2022
Is there a way to reset password of the control panel? Even open the scard and mount into a linux distribution.

No there is no possibility. The only chance to reset your netPI is to do a factory reset by USB stick as described in the FAQ section here https://www.hilscher.com/de/applikationen/prototyping/netpi/?

This is unacceptable, if someone lost the password there're will be a mode to setting the default password. Maybe not from the web but using USB.
Even with docker or nodered?

Well there are always two sides of the story. No password reset was a decision since the beginning of netPI's development 6 years ago. The highest goal with netPI was to create a 100% secure device and to give nobody an access vector to intrude into the device. And this resulted in no possibility to reset the password by any human intervention except using the factory reset function.

Of course if you want to change your current password after your first successful login, then this is of course possible in the "Managing User Accounts" dialog. But this requires you to login.

Ok, for me this decision is bad, but ok maybe put a good warning about missing password in the site, for help other user about this decision.
Now i have to reset and rebuild all i've done.
