RE: Siemens PLC -Uploading and downloading using netPI & VPN - SAhire@hilscher.local - July-20th-2020 Thanks for Support. Can you please share screenshot for your setup- Docker bridge-network. My setup showing the default showing the IP. BR, Sandip RE: Siemens PLC -Uploading and downloading using netPI & VPN - Armin@netPI - July-20th-2020 It is the same as your screen shot shows and is 100% identical to mine since Docker automatically creates a 172.17.0.0/16 network always- RE: Siemens PLC -Uploading and downloading using netPI & VPN - Armin@netPI - July-20th-2020 Now I setup and tested the same configuration as you are using. I set my S7-1200 PLC to the IP address 192.168.253.5 I set my netPI eth0 to 192.168.253.1, both at subnet mask 255.255.255.0. I connected both the eth0 port and S7 PLC Ethernet port physically directly to each other. In Tosibox container I configured static route of 192.168.253.0 subnetmask 255.255.255.0. See here: I did not conifgured any "tbnet" network for container and used standard "bridged" network as I recommended. In "bridged" mode the network will be automatically generated instead. I also did not configure any S7-1200 or NL50MPI device in Tosibox, because when tunnel is establihed all IP addresses from 192.168.253.0-255 are all available on the Tosibox client. This time I am using my mobile phone as internet connection for netPI. So my mobile phone is granting a hotspot to netPI over its "Wifi client" function and hence netPI gets access to the Internet. So immediately my Tosibox Client software shows connected And also immediately my remote PC I installed the Tosibox client on get connected to S7-1200 PLC over the tunnel This all took me 7-8 minutes of time. |
