Are you able to produce a bespoke version of the RS485 expansion module which provides 2 x RS485 communications ports?

Hello primmer,
I am sorry to say that the Raspberry CPU BCM2837 does not have any UART left to drive 2 ports physically. So this is not possible to realized.
We have a customer that successfully used this device here for multiple RS485 connections: https://www.reichelt.de/raspberry-pi-usb-rs485-interface-ch340c-rpi-usb-rs485-p242783.html
This is the only possibility I see right now for you.
