normal ethernet port using for Profinet - MGharat - July-18th-2019 Cant be netPI core Ethernet port be used for Profinet Master/Slave application ?? through any docker container/stack? BR Madhumati RE: normal ethernet port using for Profinet - Armin@netPI - July-18th-2019 Yes, if you use a dockerized program that supports a software profinet master/slave stack then this is possible. Hilscher itself is not providing such a software stack, but CODESYS does. CODESYS can be Profinet master/slave on standard ethernet port of raspberry, on netPI CORE3 and also netPI RTE 3. RE: normal ethernet port using for Profinet - hannes - August-7th-2019 Is it also possible to use the real time ethernet ports as normal ethernet ports? So that i have 3 "normal" ethernet ports on the RTE3? BR Hannes RE: normal ethernet port using for Profinet - Armin@netPI - August-7th-2019 Hello Hannes, I am really wondering see you asking this question again cause in this post here: https://forum.hilscher.com/Thread-RTE3-Use-real-time-ethernet-as-normal-ethernet-interface you had asked exactly the very same question in may 2019 already and got a competent reply from us. May I ask you why you are asking this question again? Thx Armin RE: normal ethernet port using for Profinet - hannes - August-7th-2019 I just forgot it that i already asked it. I am very sorry. Thank you again for your fast reply. |
