NIOT-E-NPIX-RCAN availability - andreash - March-19th-2019

Hello,

I found the following guide https://hub.docker.com/r/hilschernetpi/netpi-canopennode-npix-rcanbut
but I can't find the mentioned expansion hardware in the hilscher shop.
Is the expansion
NIOT-E-NPIX-RCAN available?

Dear Andreas, there is indeed a delay with the Module. One of the EMC tests is still missing. We are not ready with the product yet. I see a delay of two month still until we have the module series released.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm looking forward to the release since I think this is a very valuable addition to the NIOT system in combination with CANopenNode & SocketCAN.

There is an update from my side on this topic.

We passed the last missing EMC test successfully.

Now we schedule production of the first lot of 100 pcs CAN modules. I expect availability in 6 to 8 weeks from now on.

Here a news concerning the release of the CAN module.

I am pleased to tell you that the release of the module will be end of may finally.

100 units are in production right now.
