[SOLVED] Information for pin connector - Justin - November-9th-2018

Where can I find information for the connections of the pin connectors which are located behind the mini PCIe socket?

RE: Information for pin connector - Armin@netPI - November-9th-2018

Hello Justin,

netPI technology is offered on a separate landing page: https://www.netiot.com/netpi/industrial-raspberry-pi-3/

In the download section you find informations about the connector and modules we call NPIX in the download section.

Thx
Armin

It is the connections for the un-soldered through holes that I want to know, not the extension modules. Thanks

Well then I have misunderstood your inquiry.

We are offering the netPI schematics here https://forum.hilscher.com/thread-253.html. Isn't this information providing you all the pins you need to know?

Back to your unsoldered pins: the only unsoldered pins I see are the 40 pin-header (HAT), 6 pin-header, 14 pin-header, right?

The connections to 40 pin header are the connections i am looking for

Those are described in the schematics indeed.

The 40 pin header is nearly the standard HAT format you know from your standard Raspberry Pi: https://pinout.xyz/#

But some pins are not connected since they are in use. For example the communication between BCM CPU and netX CPU goes across SPI0 interface. So it didn't make sense to offer these pins on the 40 pin HAT header too, since they are occupied.

Is there any buttons on the netpi for the user?

RE: Information for pin connector - Armin@netPI - November-12th-2018

Hello Justin,

no there are neither any digital inputs nor digital output or any buttons someone can push on any of the plain netPIs.

Thank you

so, is there any button on the netpi RTE 3?

Hello Justin,

I said

Quote:... there not not any buttons someone can push on any of the plain netPIs.

So this includes netPI RTE 3 and netPI CORE 3.
