Hello Andreas,
the official statement from company Broadcom concerning the availability of the BCM2837 SoC (Pi3 CPU) is a guaranteed delivery until 2023. But then the CPU does not vanish from the market from one day to the other. There is a last time buy that would ensures a delivery of another 5 years for sure. Overall this is a 10 years life time.
