[SOLVED] Using netPI's HDMI port
#1
Hello All,

Will NetPi also provide a desktop like homescreen as normal raspberry pi do? If yes how to access that. I tried installing Tight VNCserver in my net pi which got successfully installed. But when i tried to access the Netpi using VNC Viewer from my PC, it is not getting connected and it is showing an error that "Connection rejected by device". Do i need to have some docker containers to do so? Also, there is a HDMI port on my Net pi device. Kindly let me know how can i get an output out of that HDMI port. Is that HDMI port there for the purpose of displaying Netpi's Rpi like home screen. I am quite new to this. Please bear with me if it is a silly question.

Thanks in Advance
Rahul

Hello Rahul,

netPI is able to run all software in Docker Containers only. This is the netPI concept.

You will getting your netPI running the HDMI port in 5 minutes loading the Docker Hub example we build here

Follow the readme, connect a mouse and keyboard and wait for the HDMI up and running and use it as a normal IPC.

Armin
